I took this picture just outside of my house in Newport. This single light really has a lot of feeling tied to it especially since it stands alone on the beach. There's one of these light posts every few blocks but it really creates a very lonely atmosphere when singled out. It was hard to capture the source and the background in one picture due to focus and lighting issues but I think the harshness of the source in this picture speaks a lot about the previously stated emotion tied to it. It's really an awesome experience to sit alone outside with only the light post as company. It truly gets you in a good place to think.
